I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing the lovely Mirriam Kaissi, the founder and designer of Moroccan Kaftans.
The interview will be put up very very soon (life is so manic at the moment...), for now, check out her lovely designs here

I've dropped a visit to Caffe Concerto before, in their Westfield/London branch, and had this delicious white chocolate cake! As mentioned on my Hijab Fashion Week post here.
Since I loved the cake, I couldn't help but visit Caffe Concerto again, this time in their Kensington High Street branch! Their cakes are just ssssooo delicious, and the best thing is its vegetarian friendly, and mostly Islamic friendly too! Alcohol free cakes and veggie gelatines , but do NOT order Tiramisu, as it contains alcohol!
Not only are the cakes aesthetically, but also the caffe itself! The decorations and interior design are beautiful. I took some snapshots, enjoy!

Day 7: Hijab Fashion Week Running Errands
This is the final look...rather ordinary and relaxed. Wondering why? It's because I don't bother dressing fancy when I'm out and about and just dealing with my daily stuff such as going shopping, going to the post office and other 'usual' stuff I need to do.
I mean, who stands in front of the mirror fussing about an outfit for hours, just to send a letter to the post office or do the grocery shopping? I clearly don't.
I hope you enjoyed the Hijab Fashion Week, as much as I did. I was amazed by all the effort and outfits posted by each participant/blogger. It was all so much fun and interesting. I hope that this event will come next year inshallah and that more bloggers can join the Hijab Fashion Week.
Opinions, feedbacks and suggestions are very welcomed!

Day 5: Hijab Fashion Week Weekend Wear...
Once your stressful 5 days of work/school is done, the last thing you wanna do is fuss about your outfit and try to avoid one of your daily dilemmas of "what to wear?!" during the weekend.
I normally wear my comfortable slippers and have a light breakfast, then change into something casual!
You are meant to be relaxing and just be out and about with friends or family...This is a suggestion to your dilemma not a solution. Enjoy!
The hijab is from my puny hijab collection ZNS, this one is made out of 100% silk for the bottom material, and the upper material is a mixture of wool and nylon. I hope you like it!

Day 4: Hijab Fashion Week Vacation Wear...
Well, the weather and season right now does not compliment this look at all...I always have 'summer' in my mind when I think of holiday, I honestly did not have any time to do this outfit and did this instead...I picked fashion items I would personally wear during a sunny holiday.
Don't worry, all my other remaining outfits are gonna be photographs!

Day 3: Hijab Fashion Week Girl's Night Out...
Going out is all about dressing up and having fun. A little bit of sparkle here and there won't hurt, but too much can be blinding (no, not literally...)
Ps. If you live in London try the cakes from Caffe Concerto...delicious!
