ZINAH Signature Collection 2015
ZINAH was a London based fashion house founded by the fashion designer Zinah Nur Sharif. Her interest in the amalgamation of fashion and modesty, combined with her fascination of natural fabrics, particularly silk has led her into specialising in handcrafted scarves. Respecting tradition of haute couture, all ZINAH products were gently handmade in London. The brand only used finest and most genuine materials with sincerity to reach true luxury. Swarovski Elements are the only embellishments used for designing some of the most beautiful pieces.
As a British fashion house, ZINAH yearned to enlighten the British culture and diversity as a wealth and a source of inspiration. The British fashion house characterised femininity in its pure form celebrating the true beauty of women. The brand used creativity as a universal language to inspire women to express their style identity.
The brand to endeavoured authenticity and creatively expressed elegance through the creation of both innovative and refined scarves. more on www.zinahns.com

Summer has ended a long ago here in London…but somehow we have been getting random warmer weathers now and then. Most of the time out of the blue. As a Londoner, I'm used to adapting my outfits to the weather…always carry a warm coat somehow in my bag or just around. In this case, I wore a layer underneath my striped top!

Not sure if this is the first time I'm posting a picture of me with my Ray Ban glasses? I wear glasses on regular bases, because I have a terrible eye sight (really terrible!). Thank you Ray for making me both see better and look somewhat 'fashionable'!

When the weather is between warm and cold, the air breezy and the sun warm on your skin…what do you wear? A combination of summer and winter wear. The slight struggles of living in London with a bipolar weather.

This was an article for the Sunday Times Style magazine, where I was interviewed to comment on beauty and hijab.

The Modesty Maze

Some of the best beauty blogs are by Muslim women. We ask how they reconcile make-up and the hijab
Muslim beauty blogs are on the rise, their posts tackling, among other things, how young British Muslim women reconcile wearing the hijab, or headscarf, with beauty and cosmetics. “I find it confusing,” says the Muslim comedian Shazia Mirza, who doesn’t wear a hijab. “How can women cover their hair as a sign of modesty and then plaster their face in make-up? You’re either modest or you’re Rihanna. You can’t have it both ways.” Read more on here.

My second visit to Paris was lovelier than my first. The city has beautiful architecture, delicious food (particularly pastries) and timeless fashion sense. The weather is pretty much like London, perhaps with less rain, but still grey and cold.

I spent my last day in central Paris, playing a tourist!
