Thought I'd share these with you…just a few snapshots of the place I love the most; London…A few typical places, you know, like the Big Ben & London Eye…Union Jack flag around Trafalgar Square and Oxford Circus.

Now that the 2012 Olympics have started…things are pretty hectic here, with tons of visitors and tourists! Around 1 million additional people to the pretty much always hectic city. Not to mention the crazy Notting Hill Carnival this coming weekend…whoopty doo (NOT!)

Regardless of all that, this city remains to be one in a million, unique and just wondrous!

I love Disney classics, they bring such sweet memories from my childhood. Not only that, I'm an adult now and still enjoy watching Disney films…hope I don't come across as a creep haha

Anyhow, it's been years since I've watched Aladdin, and I thought it suited this blessed month, you know with all the stereotypical land of the Arabs, the customs, the story somehow (and considering that I'm avoiding all kind of films for obvious reasons). However, since I'm looking after my nephews and nieces, I couldn't help but join in haha
Now the first film choice for this post was 'Prince of Egypt', but the whole story has been changed dramatically and does not even reflect the real story in the slightest, just don't like it and I did not want to confuse the little ones (my nephews and nieces that is haha)…



I'm going to avoid writing about Aladdin…I'm pretty sure most of you have watched it or at least hear of it.

As for food…there is always a feast during Ramadan, sorry to disappoint most of it won't include receipt :/ The feast includes spring roles, salad with prawns and avocado, Algerian soup, meatball sauce with bread, Vimto juice, pastry and many others that I can't seem to remember…let the pictures speak for themselves. Also, DATES, very important!

Masjid al-Qiblatain  is a masjid in Medina that is historically important for Muslims as the place where the Islamic prophet Muhammad, leading the prayer, is said to have been commanded to change the direction of prayer (qibla) from Jerusalem to Mecca. Thus it uniquely contained two prayer niches (mihrabs). Recently the masjid was renovated, removing the old prayer niche facing Jerusalem and leaving the one facing Mecca.

It's been twenty-four months of hardcore blogging, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I've dedicated my time and passion for this blog, I love taking pictures, I love showing you my outfits, I love sharing my love and passion on this very blog, and I've grown fond of it.



Blogging is hard work, not sure if any of you have noticed, but it requires an upkeep, dedication and time…but that alone is not what makes a blog, but the wonderful readers, the silent supporters and the cheerleader supporters and the fellow bloggers that make a blog what it is.
