This is just a quick recap of the Fashion & Faith event/talk with Dian Pelangi and Professor Reina Lewis at London College of Fashion. I just managed to attend the Q&A part of the event, rushing straight from work. Nevertheless it was a great pleasure meeting all the lovely girls.

I'm sure most of you have heard of Dian Pelangi, the infamous Indonesian fashion designer. I got the chance to meet her beginning of this year during her visit to London.

Coming straight from work, I sadly missed the lovely dinner with the rest of the girls, but still just managed to see everyone before they went off. Dian is indescribably kind, humble and sweet, I loved spending the little time I had with her. Although we've never met in person prior to this meet up, it felt like I've known her for years. Of course it was incredibly nice meeting everyone, the host Muna Ally, guest Basma Kahie and the rest of the lovely girls.

I didn't get a chance to take any pictures, but the lovely Muna captured the whole event and put it up on her Facebook page.

Along with personal growth, there's career growth. Some things we consider a job, others we consider an experience and few we consider a career. The path I'm currently on is leading me to my career, it's an experience and a job.

I, of course work in fashion, always have and hopefully inshAllah will always do. As much as I don't like sharing much of my personal life that doesn't relate to my blog or fashion label, I believe working for Burberry is one of the things that relates both relates to my blog & fashion label. You'll be seeing few things here and there on my blog about Burberry, so this is just a little heads up!

Prorsum means nothing other than forward, so let's keep moving forward!

The last time I was on here was on the 5th of December 2013. Writing anything, let alone a blog posts seems to be a mission for me right now and I'm so out of practice.
