This campaign is for a great cause, they want to uphold the value that all women should be granted freedom of expression (including religious) in society. For more information read their events page here.

This is the second annual "International Scarves in Solidarity" and will take place on Wednesday April 11th, 2012. Everyone is welcome, Muslims and non-Muslims. To join on this day, just simply wear a scarf around your head if you're willing (for females, due to respect) and if you're a man/boy, wear a scarf around your neck. If you're already wearing the hijab, perfect!

Please feel free to upload any pictures of yourself in a scarf with an optional message on their events page on the day of International Scarves in Solidarity. Inshallah I will be uploading my picture on their page and here on the blog :)

Such a beautiful place, its ground is so huge, and there is just so much sweetness and peace in the air. I mostly spent my time during Ramadan praying outside, because finding a place inside was rather hard and almost impossible, but once Ramadan was over, I spent much of the time inside; its air conditioned.

I honestly think that visiting Al Haram and Al Nabawi were the best experiences in my life and nothing else could ever replace it. This place is just so peaceful and beautiful. I don't think its easily describable, and you'd have to see it for yourself to feel everything that everyone is talking about. I very much wish to visit both holy Masjid's again inshallah and also pray that whoever didn't get to experience it, will soon inshallah.

Spring has been welcomed with open arms; it's my favourite season of the year! It's not too cold nor is it too hot, and everything is coming back to life (plants of course…plants.)

I have been pretty busy lately, with my final major project going on, other projects (which inshallah you'll be happy to know about in the near future iA!) and so so many other stuff…not to mention work (as in job…) and just life in general.

Anyhow, the blog shall run as usual iA, I'm trying my very best to keep up with everything…thank you for being amazing readers, followers and visitors! This blog wouldn't mean as much to me as it does now, if it wasn't for you guys :)

I never understood why people are so crazy for Nandos, until I went to see it for myself (more like eat it!) and its great! Its amazing and I am addicted! Their vegetarian options are great, but so is their halal chicken. Not all brunches are halal of course. The one in Bayswater/London is halal. Here are some pictures.
