I was over the moon when the amazing fashion/ street style photographer Alessia Gammarota contacted me. Her work is wonderful, captures moments wonderfully and are a breath of fresh air. We did a mini shoot in the heart of Camden and it was pretty awesome! We also did more street style photography sessions, which I will be putting up soon iA!

Below are some of the pictures she took of me :) You can find more pictures on the Facebook page

My outfit for the Honey Club event…I've been into wide trousers lately, they're so modest and almost like a maxi skirt, but more comfortable and give you the space to walk around freely!

I was lucky to attend the Honey Tasting event by The Honey Club! During the event, not only did I have the pleasure to meet very lovely people, but I also learned more about Beekeeping, Bees and Honey!

Would the event be complete without tasting honey? Of course not, all the guests were able to taste 5 different types of Honey from different Beekeepers and vote for for a favourite.
I must admit that honey never tasted so good and the variety of it was a little bit overwhelming! One of the honeys tasted even fruity, my absolute favourite!

To compliment the event, I of course wore yellow jumper, black trousers with an insect broach, that looked closely like a bee, but in reality wasn't!

Apple Crumble with Strawberry Ice Cream & The September Issue

How perfect is it to watch this film in September? Not to mention Fashion Week was on as well. It's a Fashion Week on this blog :D

I have been introduced to this film about 4 years ago by a friend, who is equally obsessed with fashion as I am.
It's a sort of a documentary film, where the viewer gets to see how the September issue of Vogue magazine comes together, what happens behind the scenes and everything involved. Of course on of the main focus is Anna Wintour.

I love fashion (isn't that obvious?) but I do not agree with most of the stuff that happens in the fashion industry, which is may be considered ironic or hypocritical of me, but hey, I love the fact that it's such a large creative industry that has no boundaries. However I hate the fact that some people have more money than sense, and spend millions for a photo-shoot and then a tiny mistake happens, they re-shoot the WHOLE thing again to spend another gazillion pounds on what was perfectly fine to begin with!
Did you know that the film 'The Devil Wears Prada' is loosely based on Anna Wintour? Yep she is Miranda Priestly for sure!

I do respect her for being a perfectionist, for working hard and for loving what she does. It's great and fashion is great, but people like her need to realise that they are not curing cancer or stoping world hunger, and need to stop their arrogance of believing that the world can't be without them.

As for what I ate while watching this…film, it was apple crumble. I'm sorry to say that yet again I'm far too lazy to write down everything, instead I put up photographs that should help you figure out how to bake it and small captions. Hope that helps :)

I must admit it's fairly easy and straightforward. You can make your own crumble or just buy a ready one (which I have done) .

You bake it until golden and serve it with a nice cold ice cream…any desired flavour!

London Fashion Week came to an end on Tuesday. So I have attended 3 days, 2 shows and the showrooms. Was it fun?

Well let me answer this, what could be better than standing in a very long line, waiting for the show to start, being photographed and at times yelled at by surely photographers who want you either in or out of their shots, then to finally go inside to watch a show that lasts the length of time it takes to eat a Mars bar, in a room filled with deafening music?

Of course being at a live catwalk show is more fun than just flicking through the images online, but it's also hard work uploading and editing all pictures. Not to mention walking from one place to the other, in HEELS! I barely attended enough shows, but I feel sorry for the press and photographers who run around like maniacs.

It's exhausting…but fun! I won't upload all pictures on here, as I have already done so on the Facebook page. If you still haven't liked the facebook page…WHY?

Here is a sum of the 3 days…the rest on the facebook page!

So I went to see the Bora Aksu S/S '13 show and I loved it! I won't write much of it on here, as I'm sure you can read it everywhere else online…

The show was great, I spent most of them time taking pictures and didn't enjoy it as much as I could…however the whole vibe was striking and the collection was beautiful!

Maybe I’m over my head, maybe no one feels the same way about Bora Aksu like I do and maybe I have not experienced enough of these fashion shows to compare it with. Whatever the reason may be, I can’t help it but to admit that I have never experienced such simple yet complex atmosphere. This is the second time I have experienced his shows and the London based Turkish designer never fails me.

I was sitting next to this lovely lady, who happened to be the mother of Antony Waller (brand director of Bora Aksu) and behind Kelly Brook and Kate Nash…I had no idea about these people until after the show (I was specifically clueless about Kate Nash and never heard of her before…) She was lovely regardless and I briefly met her and had a quick chat.

(Kelly Brook, a British celebrity…well I'm not too familiar with her work, but she seemed lovely. Photography by Zinah)

(So this is Kate Nash everyone..picture taken by Samiha)

How lucky can a girl be after witnessing such show? Very lucky, I got to meet Bora Aksu backstage and congratulated him on his amazing work. Like he has not heard that far too many times? Well “I really love Istanbul and been there twice” was followed after the million praises I have thrown at him. He was so humble and light-hearted and simply replied with ‘Thank you very much”. He said that three times I must add, at the end of the day I felt like I was being praised by him for praising his work…great huh? Yes, I think so too! The lovely Maria Papadopoulou (head make-up artist and ambassador of ELLIS FAAS) even described him as ‘beautiful inside and out’; I second that! It was very lovely to meet the guy behind the Modern Queen collection.

(Mr. Bora Aksu himself, very lovely guy! Photography by Samiha)

(The inviation care was just as beautiful as the show…plus can you see the crown? Love it!)

I suggest that you watch the highlights on here and listen to ‘Youth’ by Daughter at the same time; perhaps you’ll get to experience a glimpse of it for yourself.

Love and Peace

Ps. I will be posting my outfit by the end of this week iA xx
